This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which AroundYou collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the AroundYou mobile application (“App”).
Information Collection and Use
- Personal Information: The App may collect the user’s name, email address, username, and location for posts. Location data is associated with posts for distribution purposes but is not stored when the user searches for nearby posts.
- User Identification and Post Location: User identification and post locations are collected to determine where posts are made and distributed only to nearby individuals. Location data is not retained when users search for nearby posts.
Data Security
User authentication is managed through Firebase authentication for sign-up and log-in. Other data is stored in our database, and sensitive information is not shared.
User Rights
Users can interact (like, unlike, comment, reply to comments, like, unlike, or delete comments) with other users’ content while nearby. Users can also edit their profile information (username, full name, profile picture, biography) or delete their account, resulting in the deletion of all associated data.

This Privacy Policy is subject to change, and the updated version will be available on the App Store.
